Casey

Hi, I'm Casey. I'm a Registered Nurse, CPR Instructor, a Sarasota native, and co-owner/operator of CPR Sarasota.

I'm also a very proud mom to three beautiful children. I've been a nurse for about 20 years, practicing in critical care, trauma, cardiovascular, and emergency medicine. I am specially trained as a SANE (Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner), and in emergency medical response to mass casualty and disaster events, as well as barrier precautions for highly infectious diseases.

I keep my skills sharp and actively practice the life-saving techniques I teach in our courses as a Trauma Resuscitation Nurse at my local community hospital, where I also serve as the Trauma Injury Prevention Coordinator.

I love what I do, and I'm excited to share my passion for emergency care and teaching with you. I look forward to seeing you in class!

Hey! I'm Scott. I am a CPR Instructor,  co-owner of CPR Sarasota, and a proud dad to an amazing family.

I was born in Maryland, but relocated with my family to Sarasota when I was in middle school. Sarasota however, is my forever home and I am grateful for this opportunity to give back to my community by teaching high quality CPR to my neighbors and fellow community members.

My first degree is in communications, and I have background training in fire sciences and emergency response. I really enjoy working with people, and  teaching CPR has given me an amazing opportunity to meet a lot of awesome new people, like you!

Jamie

Hello! I am a retired Emergency Nurse and ED manager.

Managing an emergency department during COVID was challenging to say the least.  Being one of the more experienced RNs there, I often had to fill the role of manager, charge nurse, critical care nurse, and educator.

I fell critically ill in 2022, and it left me with permanent physical disabilities, and I had to retire. I love to teach, and teaching American Heart method is one of the most important things you can learn. I used AHA almost every day of my career.

I met my beautiful wife, Marta, another ED RN. Marta and I are passionate about all things related to ED and ICU nursing.  We have two children, and three granddaughters.

Gabrielle

Hey there!

My name is Gabrielle, but people call me Snook. I'm from Charlotte, North Carolina, where I met my husband, and we relocated to Florida in 2011.

We moved to Florida so I could perform for Disney, Universal Studios, Sea World, and eventually became a principal dancer for Norwegian Cruise Lines.

After that, we moved to the Sarasota/Bradenton area, where I currently teach dance. My husband was a Firefighter/Paramedic for 13 years, and is now a full time ER RN at a level II Trauma Center. He is an AHA Instructor as well, and after sitting in on his classes, I am excited to be an instructor myself!

Hi, my name is Marta.

I am a very busy woman, but I have refused to submit a preferred photo or bio information for this website, so Casey chose one of her favorite photos of me to give you a little glimpse of my character.

*hint: I am NOT a Labor and Delivery Nurse...

Jeff

Hi I'm Jeff. I started my career in healthcare in 2008, as a part time EMT in North Carolina, while finishing my degree in Exercise Science and Biology from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.

My beautiful wife, when she was given the opportunity to dance and perform in her dream job, as a character at a Florida theme park you may be familiar with..., We moved to orlando, and I went to the Fire Academy and Paramedic school, and spent the next 12 years as a full time Firefighter/Paramedic.

I am now a Registered Nurse at a level II Trauma Center, in the ER, and an American Heart Association CPR Instructor.

I look forward to meeting you!

Michelle

Hi, I'm Michelle!

As a longtime Paramedic and Nurse serving our local community, I am excited to serve in a new way, as a CPR Instructor. Throughout my career, I have witnessed firsthand the critical role that immediate action plays in saving lives. That's why I am passionate about training the true first responders - the individuals who recognize an emergency, begin care, and call for help!

I am equally committed to supporting healthcare professionals as they maintain and advance their skills. My goal is to provide engaging, evidence-based instruction that builds confidence, strengthen knowledge, and empowers every student to respond when it matters most.

Hey there! I'm Sean, and I'm excited to be part of the team at CPR Sarasota!

With over 20 years of experience as a Firefighter/Paramedic with the Sarasota County Fire Department, I've dedicated my life to helping others in emergencies. As a member of the Special Operations Team on a FEMA Disaster Medical Response Team and a Field Training Officer, I learned that every second counts - especially when it comes to saving lives.

I truly enjoy sharing my knowledge and skills with others through CPR education. There's nothing more rewarding than empowering individuals with the confidence and skills they need to save a life.

Looking forward to meeting all of you in class!
