American Heart Association Certifications Policy
All AHA certifications are distributed digitally, via eCard. PLEASE NOTE: Your certification comes directly from the American Heart Association. We are happy to assist you in claiming your card, should you experience any delays or difficulties with the AHA's process. Please allow up to 48 hours after your class to receive your invitation email from the American Heart Association to claim your eCard. Check your junk/spam folder if you have not received it timely. Call, text, or email us at CPR Sarasota to request assistance.
All learners are responsible for, and required to claim their own eCards.
Student Provider Manual and Workbook Policy
CPR Sarasota does not sell or provide "loaner" copies of AHA provider manuals or workbooks. Course reference materials are provided for use during class. Student provider manuals and/or workbooks are available for all AHA classes. They may be purchased in hard copy or digital format online at the American Heart Association, Amazon, Worldpoint, or at the retailer of your choice. If purchasing, make sure to select the most current version available.
Tardy Policy
If you are running late to your class by more than 5 minutes, please call us at (941) 999-1277. In order to be respectful of everyone's time, you will need to be rescheduled into a different class if you are more than 10 minutes late.
Refund & Payment Policy
We understand that unavoidable circumstances arise and that some appointments have to be re-scheduled. If you must re-schedule, please contact us as soon as possible. PLEASE NOTE: Once your payment has been received, we will are unable to offer refunds for cancellations. We are, however, more than happy to reschedule your appointment and apply any payments previously received.
Our instructors cannot accept personal checks. We gladly accept business checks, all major credit cards, cash, and money orders. Payment for most classes will be requested at the time of registration, but can be paid at the time of the class. Some classes require pre-payment or a deposit in order to reserve available class openings. Certifications will be issued after course fees have been paid in full, unless prior arrangements are made with our business office.
On-Site Booking Policy
There is a 6 registrant minimum for all on-site classes we commit to. The booking facility will be responsible for (at most) the minimum 6 person registration fee, despite absenteeism on the day of the class, unless otherwise approved in advance. A deposit may be required to reserve the requested date and time for on-site classes. Please contact us for quotes and details specific to your class needs.
