Can I claim CEU/CME credit for classes?


CPR Sarasota does not offer continuing education credits and does not report credits to licensing agencies or third party continuing education tracking brokers. It is the learner's responsibility to report earned continuing education credits to the appropriate entity for their licensure compliance requirements. *Currently, the AHA offers CE/CME for the following courses and learner types: Instructor Led Courses: - ACLS, for EMS students - ACLS EP, for EMS students - BLS, for EMS students - PALS, for EMS students - PEARS, for EMS students Blended Learning Courses: - HeartCode BLS, all - HeartCode ACLS, all - HeartCode PALS, all - HeartSaver CPR AED Online, all - HeartSaver First Aid CPR AED Online, all - HeartSaver First Aid Online, all - HeartSaver Pediatric First Aid CPR AED Online, all E-Learning Courses: - HeartSaver Bloodborne Pathogens Online, all - Achieving Accuracy: BP Measurement, all




Do you offer individual and group discounts?


Yes! We offer discounts to employees of many businesses throughout the community. Let us know who your employer is, by booking over the phone, and we will glady apply any available discounts. You may be asked to produce a current identification badge to confirm employment. Failure to do so may result in the need to pay the remainding balance of the class cost before certification can be released. We also offer discounts to healthcare students with current student identification. Additionally, we offer discounts to private groups wishing to book for multiple learners, as well as corporate discounts for buisnesses, and nonprofit organizations. Please call us to discuss special rates for your group or company employees!




What forms of payment do you accept?


We accept cash, all major credit and debit cards, and money orders. Our instructors are not able to accept personal checks. Business checks are accepted from companies upon invoice for services that have made arrangments in advance with our business office. Please call to inquire about how we can tailor a payment plan for your organization.




When will I receive my eCard? Can I get my certification the same day of my class?


Please allow up to 72 hours after your class to receive your invitation email to claim your eCard. If you need proof of attendance prior to this time frame, please let your instructor know, and they will issue you a certification of completion. *Same day certifications are available in many instances, please make arrangements at the time of booking to ensure availability.




Do you offer virtual or online classes?

Do you sell student manuals for the classes, or have copies I can borrow?


Student provider manuals are strongly recommended for all courses, and may be purchased from a retailer of your choice. You can find them online at the AmericanHeartAssociation, Amazon, or Worldpoint. The American Heart Association offers ebooks, if you prefer a digital format. Digital or hardcopy, make sure you select the most current version available (2020). CPR Sarasota does not sell provider manuals, or have "loaner" copies available for student use. *The American Heart Association strongly promotes knowledge and proficiency in all AHA courses and has developed instructional materials for this purpose. Use of these materials in an educational course does not represent course sponsorship by the AHA. Any fees charged for such a course, except a portion of fees needed for AHA course materials, do not represent income to the AHA.




How long are American Heart Association Certifications good for?

Call or text us at (941) 999 - 1277, or email us at info@cprsarasota.com While we have published operating business hours Monday through Friday from 9am to 6pm, and Saturdays from 9am to noon, please keep in mind that we are a small, family owned and operated business. Prompt communication is a top priority for us, and we have a close knit staff of instructors and office personnel who make ourselves available as much as possible to answer and return your calls, texts, and emails ASAP. However, we may be unavilable temporarily if we are teaching a class, on another call, in transit, or feeding a hungry baby (we're a real family here at CPR Sarasota). Please allow occasional delys in response time. I promise, we care about your call, and we will return it as soon as we can!
