Casey Howell
Hi, I'm Casey.
I'm a Registered Nurse, CPR Instructor, a Sarasota native, and co-owner/operator of CPR Sarasota.
I'm also a very proud mom to three beautiful children, two big slobbery furbabies, and the (arguably) better half to the stud featured below ;)
I've been a nurse for about 16 years, practicing in critical care, trauma, cardiovascular, and emergency medicine. I am specially trained as a SANE (Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner), and in emergency medical response to mass casualty and disaster events, as well as barrier precautions for highly infectious diseases.
I keep my skills sharp and actively practice the life saving techniques I teach in our courses as a Trauma Resuscitation Nurse at my local community hospital, where I also serve as the Trauma Injury Prevention Coordinator.
I love what I do, and I'm excited to share my passion for emergency care and teaching with you. I look forward to seeing you in class!

Scott Sanderson
Hey! I'm Scott.
I am a CPR Instructor, and co-owner/operator of CPR Sarasota, Casey's partner, and Dad to an amazing family.
I was born in Maryland, but relocated with my family to Sarasota when I was in middle school. Sarasota however, is my forever home and I am grateful for this opportunity to give back to my community by teaching CPR to my neighbors and fellow community members.
My degree is in communications, and I have background training in the Fire Science Academy and emergency response. I really enjoy working with people, and teaching CPR has given me an amazing opportunity to meet a lot of fantastic new people, like you!

Meagan Rose
Hello! I am Meagan Rose.
I am originally from Long Island, NY. I recently moved to Sarasota for the sunshine and warmth! I live with my two crazy cats, and I enjoy playing beach volley ball and spending Sundays on the boat with my family.
I am excited to join the team as a CPR Instructor! I am a natural born teacher with a passion for all things related to water, children, and safety. I am also a preschool teacher and water safety swim instructor. I love teaching tiny humans to swim and stay safe in and around water!
At the age of 16, I started as a Lifeguard and Swim Instructor, specializing in first aid and CPR. At 18 I became a volunteer EMT and stayed busy chasing ambulances and honing my rescue and safety skills. I am proud of the 5+ years of experience and knowledge I gained as a first responder.
Water related emergencies and caring for children are my expertise! I am passionate about helping others and saving lives, and I look forward to working with all of you.
See you in class!
